There is a lot of free learning out there, the list below is just the tip of the iceberg. However, as with every great adventure you have to take a first step. 📖   When you are in the middle of a stressful situation it can actually be very difficult to spot the signs of stress in yourself. This article from ISMA UK (International Stress Management Association) called How to Identify Stress   may help you step back and identify if you need to manage your stress more carefully. What is Leadership?

It is possible that this blog will leave you with more questions than answers. Leadership is a huge topic and means different things to different people. It is essential you define what Leadership means in your  world and once you have defined it make sure that you share.  It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that a leader is the highest paid person in the room (HiPPO) or somebody at a senior level of the business. Our current world is not what it was a year ago and many people are now looking for a new job. The good news is that there is a lot of help online and that is what we focus on in this blog. The  Indeed job site has over 250 million unique visitors every month. As well as advertising new roles they offer a whole range of advice to help you find the right role and how to be the winning candidate (and no I'm not getting a handout from Indeed, this is my personal opinion). Dealing with Change

Working with technology change is what we do at Learning Perspectives it makes life exciting. You never know everything because what you knew six months ago is probably out of date now. Over the past few months with COVID-19 the world has shown just how we can deal with change. We have gone from a world where only a few people worked from home - and when they did people didn't really trust that they were working - to a world where everybody is working from home. We're having house parties using video technology and having global video led meetings where we blur the background so those attending can't see the family mayhem around us. However, just because we can deal with change doesn't necessarily mean we understand our emotions - or that we're dealing with the change particularly well. At Learning Perspectives we recognise that presenting is one of those things that we all need to do. It can be to a small group of people that we know or to a large room of people that we've never met before. It is quite normal for people to be daunted at the prospect of taking centre stage to present. For others the question and answer sessions that often follow a presentation are more daunting.
