Access to free knowledge
There is a lot of free learning out there, the list below is just the tip of the iceberg. However, as with every great adventure you have to take a first step. Hopefully something will prove to be useful.

A variety of free courses on topics such as Digital marketing, Get business online and How to increase productivity at work. Courses are between 1-40 hours and some are certificated. A great addition to your CV. You can access the site here.

BBC makes new lessons available every day and these are archived for future reference. You can learn and revise at a primary, secondary or 16+ level. Content is broken down into 20 minute 'shows' on BBC iPlayer. You can access the site here.

English language skills are one of the things that the BBC does particularly well. This resource provides free audio, video and text materials to learners around the world. You can find it here.

Aimed at children in education - but also useful for adults, TEDEd provides a series of video led lessons broken down into age group and themes. They also offer a daily email of lesson plans. You can find out more here.

This renowned resource offers learning resources for all ages. Covering topics such as Math, Science & Engineering, Arts & Humanities and Computing. You can find out more here.

EdX offer a wide range of courses created in partnership with 140 organisations such as Harvard, Berkley, Cornell and Imperial College London. Topics include Computer Science, Business & Management and Data Science. Much of this great content is free if you do not require a verified certificate of completion. You can find out more here.

One of the things I've identified is that a huge number of universities worldwide offer free learning resources. I recommend spending a bit of time looking at what's available from Universities renowned in the topic your interested in. I'd be surprised if you didn't find something appropriate to your needs.

This is a great place to gather knowledge on a wide range of different topics. The content is created by the BBC and their partners. The length of your learning experience depends on the podcasts you choose. Find out more here.

OpenLearn offers free access to course materials on a whole range of different topics including Education & Development, Money & Business, Languages and History & The Arts. You don't get a full degree, but they are Badged.
