Coaching is all about unlocking a person's potential so they can move from good to outstanding. One of the things we find at Learning Perspectives is that people can confuse coaching and mentoring, so let's just explore the difference. Coaching : Often has a focus on identifying and prioritising goals and working out how to achieve them. Coaching tends to be for a short period of time. Mentoring : Usually where an experienced individual is matched with a less experienced colleague for guidance and career development. 📖   When you are in the middle of a stressful situation it can actually be very difficult to spot the signs of stress in yourself. This article from ISMA UK (International Stress Management Association) called How to Identify Stress   may help you step back and identify if you need to manage your stress more carefully. The  Indeed job site has over 250 million unique visitors every month. As well as advertising new roles they offer a whole range of advice to help you find the right role and how to be the winning candidate (and no I'm not getting a handout from Indeed, this is my personal opinion). Working with technology change is what we do at Learning Perspectives it makes life exciting. You never know everything because what you knew six months ago is probably out of date now. Over the past few months with COVID-19 the world has shown just how we can deal with change. We have gone from a world where only a few people worked from home - and when they did people didn't really trust that they were working - to a world where everybody is working from home. We're having house parties using video technology and having global video led meetings where we blur the background so those attending can't see the family mayhem around us.
